At inndox, we’re always focused on improving transparency and equity in real estate transactions and in the property technology (proptech) industry. But as part of that focus, we’re also  incredibly passionate about empowering women in the tech industry. And our co-founder and CEO Trish Mackie-Smith is as well, having focused her career in the tech space.

That’s why we’re so proud that Trish has been selected for the highly prestigious Select Global Women in Tech Program!

Global Women in Tech Program

The Select Global Women in Tech program is an incredible initiative that focuses on supporting international female founders, entrepreneurs and executives in the tech sector. Those selected are innovators who are creating the changes needed to spur economic growth and innovation.

And Trish certainly ticks these buttons.

As a Select Global Woman in Tech, Trish has been included in an incredible 12-month mentoring program that provides access to investors, mentors and a global network of peers. The program aims to break barriers for women in the tech space, an industry where gender diversity remains a challenge.

In fact, the ratio of women to men in tech roles has actually declined over the last 35 years. And half of all women who do go into tech, drop out of the filed by the age of 35.

As the co-founder of inndox, Trish is committed to empowering women in technology and business and to make a change in the industry. In her work she has consistently championed the role of women in the rapidly evolving (and increasingly complex) digital economy.

She says, ‘I’m so excited to become a Select Global Woman in Tech. I know this is a fantastic opportunity to engage with other tech leaders, collaborate on innovative ideas and further refine our vision for inndox and proptech in general.’

Being part of the Select Global Women in Tech cohort is a testament to Trish’s influence and leadership. It aligns perfectly with her goal of fostering an inclusive digital ecosystem, one that not only supports innovation but also advocates for equality and opportunity in the tech sector.

Trish’s role in tech advocacy overall

Trish’s selection to be part of the Global Women in Tech program also honours her overall commitment to tech advocacy. She’s not only been instrumental in guiding and shaping the strategy and direction of inndox, but she’s also been a core part of developing Queensland’s new seller disclosure laws and conceptualising a digital technology ecosystem to support those disclosure laws.

Revolutionising Property Management with inndox

At its heart, inndox’s mission is to bring transparency and fairness to property management. By revolutionising property management – how Australians handle, store and transfer property records – we can better achieve that mission.

Our cutting-edge digital logbook is designed to help buyers fully understand the condition of a property before committing to a purchase, so they don’t run the risk of buying a “lemon’. Our team understands (and has seen firsthand) how devastating it can be to a buyer who finds themselves stuck with a property that has flood damage, unapproved and perhaps dangerous renovations or mould infestations. With our logbook, these mistakes are mitigated, protecting buyers, sellers and everyone else in the property journey.

inndox digital logbook stores everything about a property, from pest inspections to warranties, from flood reports to renovation certifications, and transfers seamlessly from seller to buyer upon purchase. No more messy or incomplete binders or reams of documents. inndox users can store everything in one place – safe and secure – then transfer it seamlessly and smoothly!

The future of women in tech

inndox currently manages over $2 billion of property in Australia, New Zealand and the USA, and as we grow, Trish will continue to focus her energies on helping to empower and develop opportunities for women in technology.

Trish says, ‘I’m proud to be a Select Global Woman in Tech, but there’s a lot more work to be done to see women taking on important roles in the tech space. I’m keen to help that happen any way that I can!’
