inndox Co-Founder Named Leader in PropTech Innovation

2024 Digital Economy Finalist

In the property tech industry, our purpose-driven goal is to drive transparency and equity in real estate transactions. At inndox this has always been our focus – decreasing the risk for buyers when purchasing a property, improving the accuracy of communications, and reducing onerous paperwork between sellers and buyers.

That’s why we’re so incredibly proud of our co-founder & CEO Trish Mackie-Smith for being named as a finalist in the AmCham Alliance Awards 2024, Digital Economy category.

AmCham Alliance Awards 2024

The AmCham Alliance Awards 2024 recognise Trish’s outstanding contributions to proptech innovation and leadership in the digital transformation of the real estate sector. It showcases Trish’s ongoing commitment to creating transparency and equity, and helping to revolutionise the property management space with cutting-edge technology.

Of course inndox is the technology closest to our heart and Trish has certainly been a driver for this proptech. As a digital logbook platform, inndox is transforming how property-related documents and information is stored, accessed, managed and transferred. This makes it easier for Australians to organise important documentation and keep it secure.

Trish says, ‘My overall vision has always been about making it easier for sellers to meet their disclosure obligations. And to help buyers and agents with a faster and secure digital solution. I have seen the mistakes made when buyers purchase a “lemon” property – I want to help avoid this. Tech can make life much easier and better, particularly in the property space!’

The nomination celebrates her personal achievements of course. But it also acknowledges how Australian tech is making waves on the global stage. The award seeks to honour leaders who are ‘pathfinders in the industries that will shape the future economic collaboration between Australia and the United States.’ And that is certainly our Trish!

The finalists were officially announced on September 16, and we can’t wait to see how far Trish goes! The awards will take place at the Gala in Sydney on 14 November.

Transforming Property Management With inndox

inndox’s core mission is to create equity and transparency in property management, to revolutionise the way Australians manage property records. We provide a cutting-edge digital logbook that ensures a buyer understands the condition of a property before they commit to a purchase and reduces the risk of someone buying a “lemon”.

Trish has seen first-hand the financial devastation of owners buying a “lemon” property, including buying properties with significant flood damage, mould, and unapproved improvements. An inndox logbook helps ensure these mistakes are not made.

The digital logbook includes everything about the property - from warranties and building approvals, to maintenance schedules and pest inspections. The logbook transfers from the seller to the buyer upon purchase – providing a quick and easy transfer of property documentation.

With inndox, you can store documents in one secure location, so when it comes time sell your property, you have all the necessary information right at your fingertips. Trish’s background in property law and building consultancy was instrumental in guiding and shaping the strategy and direction of inndox. She recognised early on that technology could help make property management far more efficient and streamlined.

She was also instrumental in helping to conceptualise Queensland’s new seller disclosure laws. This just goes to show that Trish’s commitment to proptech is evident on all fronts.

inndox currently manages over $2 billion worth of property in Australia, New Zealand and the USA - developing partnerships and features that support property owners with buying, leasing, maintaining and selling their property.

The future of inndox

As inndox continues to grow, Trish is focused on expanding the platform’s capabilities. Her vision includes creating more sustainable, user-friendly solutions for homeowners, developers and property managers.

And as Trish says, ‘We’re thrilled to see our platform positioned to become the industry standard for property management, not only in Australia but also globally!’

Trish’s leadership has been essential in driving the success of inndox. And her recent accolade as an AmCham Alliance Awards 2024 finalist – solidifies her position as a leader in the tech and property sectors.
