The inaugural Proptech Awards have been a huge success. While the real estate and property industries are famous for the frequency of their presentation of awards, this was the first time the innovation of industry suppliers was put into the spotlight and it shows the extraordinary ideas, passion and commitment that technology businesses are contributing to the real estate, property and construction sector.

While the law can take a long time to change, proptech can revolutionise and re-engineer a property “pain point” and in turn experience rapid and organic adoption, inndox co-founder Trish Mackie-Smith says.

A collaboration between local universities, businesses and international capital firms, the Brisbane EDA PropTech Pilot Program will see a cohort of 11 local start-ups, including inndox, take up an eight-week residency at the Brisbane Business Hub.

A finalist award for Construction Technology went to inndox at the UDIA (Qld) Awards for Excellence at Brisbane City Hall on Friday 30th October 2020.
